God <3 Lollipops

God <3 Lollipops is a 1-2 player minigame where you get to play as a god who is really into lollipops. You can experience the game alone or with someone who you feel comfortable enough with - one player controlling the lollipop and the other the tongue. The game was made for 2024 September's #FediJam game jam.

Controls:
Lollipop: A and D
God: Arrow keys up, down, left and right.
Enter to restart the game

To start the game with modifiers:
Press 1 to start with a big heart shaped lollipop, for a longer game
Press 2 to start with a pierced tongue (!?)
Press 3 to start with both modifiers

The game was made in 8 days using Godot Engine. Art, design, code, sound effects and music by me. The background music is recycled from an older project of mine. Shader code inspiration from godotshaders.com.
